Our high-volume catheter tip-forming system is designed to efficiently and reliably manufacture different sizes of soft, flexible medical catheters. It can be configured to run a variety of tubes, including PE, PVC and silicone-coated tubes. The process consists of tube feeding, heating in an oven and straightening with an inflatable balloon, forming a tip shape, and cooling before being pulled through an extruder machine for cutting into individual pieces.
